SANTA!!!

We took Camryn to Myers Portrait Gallery. He makes such a wonderful Santa. Camryn really warmed up to him.

Christmas Gift

These are some cards I made as a gift to one of the ladies I clean for. I used some clear boxes I found online to package them in. I think the little belly band added just the right touch to finish them off. I am ordering a bulk of these boxes after the first of the year if anyone wants any let me know. Camryn has been sick and I have been home with her alot this past week so I have been able to work on some cards/stamping! She's better today.

Fall Pictures

This is a beautiful church on Main Street in Hendersonville. I've been watching the colors slowly change on the tree and waiting on my chance. I always get a picture or two of Camryn with the fall colors in the background. We left this morning to go to Nashville and I went the opposite direction with this in mind. We pulled up and there was a man there taking pictures of this very spot. And he was my 9th grade woodshop teacher Mr. Jennings! Small world. I love fall, just wish it lasted a few weeks longer.

Our First Hiking Trip

We started out at a local nature area. I think we will be taking a hiking trip at Fall Creek Falls in the near future. The 2 goofy pictures of Sheldon and I were taken by Camryn. She gets tired of always having her picture taken and wanted to take ours.

I snapped a picture before we left for school

Share your favorite craft tip

Ok, I hear lots of "tips" most of which may work great for someone else..... I read somewhere today to clean your sticky craft scissors use a used dryer sheet. Oh my it actually worked great and with little effort. I usually use pan coating spray (Pam) and let it sit a minute. But this way I don't have any greasy cleanup afterwards. Please, give me your favorite tips and I'll post them.

Can't wait for everyone to see the Designer Series papers I just received from Stampin'Up! Friday. The picture doesn't do them justice. These are the "In Colors" Sky Blue, Groovy Guava, Blue Bayou, and River Rock. They are from the paper sets that are buy 3 packs get one free for the month of November.

I just love the "Looks Like Spring" set and my new "Polka Dot" background stamp. The letters are from the "Headline Alpha" set. The regal rose and old olive are nice together.

Aren't these cute?!!

I don't know if you would call these ornaments, stars, or flowers. Easy to make and just stinkin' cute. We will make them at one of our camps just haven't decided which one yet.

November's last stamp camp of the year

This is one of the cards we will do at stamp camp in November. It's made with the "Lovely as a Tree" set. I finally broke down a ordered Stampin Up's Brushed Silver and Brushed Gold paper. This card is matted with the silver. It is so much pretty in person.

Christmas Party December 4th Tuesday Night 6:00

Join me for our Christmas party. It's a pretty laid back party. Everyone brings an hor devour and an ornament to swap. We'll listen to Christmas carols, eat, and tell stories about our husbands......I mean swap ornaments. We don't really get a chance to visit during stamp camps so this will give us some time to just be hens.

After stamp camp

Stamp camp went so smooth tonight. Here are two pictures of something else you can do with the snowflake ornament we made tonight. Both are actually two put together. The card has dry embossing done with the "Priceless" template. Such a beautiful idea, wish it had been mine.

Treats for Preschool

These are the treat bags I made for the kids at Camryn's preschool. So simple to make and so cute. I used the grass wavy scissors of the head, circle punches for the eyes and marker for the rest. The tag at the top is "Batty For You" stamp set.

Face Painting

Camryn loves to have her face painted. Wednesday morning she decided she had to have a dolphin on her check.

Ok this is the last of the projects for stamp camp this Friday night. So that's 3 cards, one snowflake ornament, the clear paint can light, and we will also be doing the "scratch-n-sniff" technique for the tech card ring. This last card is made using Sky Blue and Blue Bayou, and the Snow Burst Stamp set from the holiday mini.

On another note - club orders are due this Friday the 26th. If you want to email your orders I can have it totaled before you arrive.

Thanks, see everyone Friday!

October's Stamp Camp

Here are two of the items we'll be doing at this month's camp. The card is done in Pomegranate and White. The "Believe" is stamped from the background stamp Tres Chic and the snowflake is from Snow Burst. The pearl is from the Pretties kit, the ribbon is double stitched pomegranate attached to a piece of hodgepodge hardware. The ornament is made using the Tag Punch, vellum cardstock, dazzling diamonds, whimsy wheel, white stazon, silver cord and circle punch. It is so beautiful in real life. Look forward to seeing everyone at camp. Click on the pictures to enlarge and see the detail.
