"Always"

Melissa and I made some cards using the "Always" stamp set to show at camp April 4th. She designed and made the front left side one with the bird and the upper Guava colored one with the hearts. Thanks Melissa and beautiful job. Click on the picture to see a much larger view.

Sticky Letters

I have read on some of the message boards that customers and demonstraters are having problems using the sticky letters. I used mine and although I had no trouble I can see where they may be challenged. I have a few hints/tips.

Always remove the white backing first

Try using a needle or paper piercer to get the edge started

Then stick the letter to your project - you only get one shot at this - sticks REALLY good

Then remove the front red film

Now you can add glitter/beads or whatever you want

You can also just leave the backing on and use glue or tape runner to adhear to your project

This gives you some room for error. Your glue/tape runner is easy to reposition and sticky tape will not budge

You may also want to leave the backing on and use deminsionals to give a much more 3d look

Then last thing remove the red film from the front and add your glitter/beads

Hope these tips/hints help

All 5 projects for April's stamp camp

We have very little "cutting out" for this camp. The only thing to cut is the circle at the top of the gift bag.

Spring is just around the corner

Time to think about baby showers, weddings, beautiful flowers and all the color that comes with spring. This month's stamp camp is full of color. Here are three of the 5 projects we will be doing at April's stamp camp. The first is a "Onesie" card made using the "Spring Fling" designer paper, "Greetings Galore" and "Polka Dot" stamps. This one is just too cute. The next is a chapstick holder. Mary had one she showed me last year and I had hoped to make one in class but didn't think it would take this long to get too. It is also made using the "Greetings Galore" set and "Boho Backgrounds". The last one is my personal favorite - Wedding/Anniversary card. I just love the "To Have and To Hold" set. And the color combo of coral and blush is so pretty in real life. It has a pop up message inside the card although the picture doesn't really show that. Things have gotten so busy that I am having a time getting anything posted to the blog. I will only be posting on Sunday nights/Monday mornings for a while. So if you check in on Tuesday and there is nothing new try back next week. Wow, 3 weeks and another stamp camp. Gotta go and get my other 2 items figured out!
