Scalloped Punch Tutorial

When you get your scalloped border punch (yes, I am sure you will order one) try this recipe to make a scalloped square. Start with a 1 1/2 inch piece of cardstock. When you put the cardstock in the punch you don't slide it until it stops or you will go too far. Just until your paper shows past the scallops. Center it on each end between the scallops. Do the right side then the left and then the other two in whatever order you want. Here are pictures that show how to line them up, what your scraps should look like, and the finished product. Click on the pictures if you can't see it well. Too cute, too easy!

Sneak peak!

Sneak peak from the new catalog. Please keep in mind that I have the new "In Colors"paper and ink but I am not able to order any matching accessories yet. So here is a card made using the new colors and the Level#2 hostess stamp set "Serene Spring" and the new set "Heard From The Heart". The Pacific Point scalloped square is made using the scalloped border punch. This is one of my first ones and turned out ok. But with practice I am getting better.

Bag with Matching Card

I had this cool colored bag and needed a card to match for a childs birthday gift. I used the new Pacific Point Blue, Real Red, and Turquoise to make the 3x3 card attached to the handles. The circles are stamped using the flower centers from "Pick a Petal". I think it matches great.

Bunny Truck

Camryn calls the ice cream truck the bunny truck for some reason. So today I let her get something off the bunny truck. Let me just say - there is a reason the adults should put limits on which things their kids can have choices on. The bunny truck should be one of them!!! First of all this thing was way too big. Second, that hideous color. I'll just say it now......I pick from now on. YUCKY!
